A – Simple, Click the register button and fill in a few short details including your site user name.
2) Does it cost money to become a member?

A – Yes, it costs $85 dollars for a one year membership. That’s a little over $7 a month, to have a poker site that you control. You can invite anyone you like to play in private games that you host or you can play tourneys hosted by other members. As a Club BadBeat member you can participate in special events and receive special offers.

3) How do I invite my friends to play in a Texas Hold’em Tournament I want to organize?

A – Nothing to it. Just click the Build Tournament button and you are prompted through building a tournament where you are the host. You pick the time, theme, entry fee, blind structure and payout. During this process you enter your friends’ emails and they are sent an invitation.
4) Can I win money on this site?

A – No, this site is US compliant which means that the chips played with on this site have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed. You can however win prizes in special event games. The more chips you win the more special event games you can play in.
5) What is a Poker Bot or “Bot” and how do I use it?

A – Every Club BadBeat member has a Poker Bot that they can use to play games on the site. A Poker Bot is an automated player which uses the member’s profile and account to play tournaments. A player can take over at any time from their Bot and play the game themselves. Late for tournament, have to leave for dinner or go out? No need to call a friend and have them play for you, just let your Bot play.
6) How do I know if I’m playing against a Bot or a real person?

A – You don’t, that’s why it works. Oh sure, you can try to guess but beware you may be falling right into a player’s trap.
7) Can I customize the look and feel of my Club BadBeat poker environment?

A – Why, yes you can. Cards, Felt, Dealers, Avatar, and Reactions are all customizable by you. Upload your own or choose from the stuff other members have uploaded and made available. We do suggest you upload your own unique Avatar.
8) Do I have to play with Bots?

A – Nope, it is entirely up to you. Don’t use yours and if you set up your own tournament you can restrict Bots from playing. But just for fun you should try it out; you just might like the freedom you gain.
9) How many chips do I get when I sign up?

A – Each new member receives 2,000 chips when they sign up. After that additional chips are handed out to all members on the 1st of each month.
10) What happens if I run out of chips?

A – If you run out of chips you cannot enter any tournaments. There are two ways to get additional chips. One is to wait until the 1st of the month when you receive your monthly chip allotment. The other is to fill out special offers that reward you with chips for filling it out.
11) If I’m paying money to belong to this site why do I run out of chips?

A – You run out of chips so that there is scarcity. Without scarcity the level of play deteriorates like a free roll. Everyone goes all in every hand. On Club BadBeat the level of play is much higher since if you lose your chips you have to wait until next month to play or fill out offers. Also the more chips you win the more special event games you can play in where you can win prizes. The dynamic is such that the level of play is very high at Club BadBeat and you can improve your game which is just not the case playing free rolls.
